Key Technical Features & Design

• Floating Tweeter Island: The tweeter is mounted on a distinctive square bridge ("floating plate") directly over the woofer cone. This design minimizes acoustic baffle diffraction and broadens sound dispersion so you get a wider "sweet spot" across the room.
• Soft Dome Tweeter: Features a 0.75-inch (or 1-inch) Kortec/soft-dome tweeter delivering smooth, clear high frequencies.
• Laminate / Copolymer Woofer: Equipped with Boston's Deep Channel Design (DCD) woofer cone with a rubber surround, engineered to produce rich, clean bass response with low distortion.
• Mounting & Cutout: Uses standard swing-out "dog-leg" mounting clamps (accessed via the 4 screw holes visible on the front rim) that secure the speaker tight against the ceiling drywall from behind.
• Paintable Frame: The outer white ABS bezel and matching metal mesh grille (removed in this picture) are designed to be painted to blend seamlessly into your ceiling.
